CLF created this limited edition of hand-embroidered and vintage-button-decorated pillows in partnership with her expert embroiderers in Kabul, Afghanistan. Each pillow is a sister to the next; individual pillows will vary in detail and placement.

Hand-embroidered on vintage Russian roller printed cotton by women working from home in Kabul, before the Taliban came back. The women chose their stitches and the embroidery pattern according to their eye. Each pillow is the unique expression of the woman who made it.

Reverse is dark blue handwoven silk-cotton.
