OLIVE IN THE MOONLIGHT was originally aa hand-carved blockprint on paper. Later, we made a fabric blockprint version of the same, attempting to keep the strong ham-fisted lines of the original in the fabric print version.

I love olive trees. Lucky enough to have spent time staring at olive trees in Tuscany and other places, I love the way the leaves shimmer dark to light and silver to grey to green. Olive trees under moonlight are such a privilege to see.

Hand blockprinted by master printers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 

Base fabric is cotton/linen.
